Rev 11:1 And there was given me a reed like a measuring rod; and someone said, "Rise and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and those who worship in it.
Given me a reed like a measuring rod:
"For Yahweh will strike Israel,
as a reed is shaken in the water;
and He will uproot Israel from this good land
which He gave to their fathers,
and will scatter them beyond the River,
because they have made their Asherim,
provoking Yahweh to anger. (1)
In the tenth year, in the tenth,
on the twelfth of the month,
the word of Yahweh came to me saying,
"Son of man, set your face against Pharaoh, king of Egypt,
and prophesy against him and against all Egypt.
"Speak and say, 'Thus says Yahweh God,
"Behold, I am against you, Pharaoh, king of Egypt,
the great monster that lies in the midst of his rivers,
that has said,' My Nile is mine, and I myself have made it.'
"And I shall put hooks in your jaws,
and I shall make the fish of your rivers cling to your scales.
And I shall bring you up out of the midst of your rivers,
and all the fish of your rivers will cling to your scales.
"And I shall abandon you to the wilderness,
you and all the fish of your rivers;
you will fall on the open field;
you will not be brought together or gathered.
I have given you for food to the beasts of the earth
and to the birds of the sky.
"Then all the inhabitants of Egypt will know that I am Yahweh,
Because they have been a staff of reed to the house of Israel. (2)
Now it came about in the fourteenth year of King Hezekiah, ennacherib king of Assyria came up against all the fortified cities of Judah and seized them. And the king of Assyria sent Rabshakeh from Lachish to Jerusalem to King Hezekiah with a large army. And he stood by the conduit of the upper pool on the highway of the fuller's field. Then Eliakim the son of Hilkiah, who was over the household, and Shebna the scribe, and Joah the son of Asaph, the recorder, came out to him. Then Rabshakeh said to them,
"Say now to Hezekiah,
'Thus says the great king, the king of Assyria,"
What is this confidence that you have?
"I say, 'Your counsel and strength for the war
are only empty words.'
Now on whom do you rely,
that you have rebelled against me?
"Behold, you rely
on the staff of this crushed reed,
on Egypt;
on which if a man leans,
it will go into his hand and pierce it.
So is Pharaoh king of Egypt
to all who rely on him. (3)
Egypt:
Though I wrote for him
ten thousand precepts of My law,
they are regarded as a strange thing.
As for My sacrificial gifts,
they sacrifice the flesh and eat it,
but Yahweh has taken no delight in them.
Now He will remember their iniquity,
and punish them for their sins;
they will return to Egypt. (4)
The temple of God, and the altar:
Then the angel of Yahweh
commanded Gad to say to David,
that David should go up and build an altar to Yahweh
on the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite.
So David went up at the word of Gad,
which he spoke in the name of Yahweh.
Then David said,
"This is the house of Yahweh God,
and this is the altar of burnt offering for Israel." (5)
O send out Your light and Your truth,
let them lead me;
let them bring me to Your holy hill,
and to Your dwelling places.
Then I will go to the altar of God,
to God my exceeding joy;
and upon the lyre I shall praise You,
O God, my God. (6)

Rev 11:2 "And leave out the court which is outside the temple, and do not measure it, for it has been given to the nations; and they will tread under foot the holy city for forty-two months.
The nations :
For the time already past is sufficient for you
to have carried out the desire of the Gentiles,
having pursued a course of sensuality, lusts,
drunkenness, carousals, drinking parties
and abominable idolatries. (1)
not in lustful passion, like the Gentiles
who do not know God; (2)
The wicked will return to Sheol,
all the nations who forget God. (3)
The holy city:
And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem,
coming down out of heaven from God,
made ready as a bride adorned for her husband. (4)
Awake, awake,
clothe yourself in your strength, O Zion;
Clothe yourself in your beautiful garments,
O Jerusalem, the holy city.
For the uncircumcised and the unclean
will no more come into you. (5)
Zion:
But chose the tribe of Judah,
Mount Zion which He loved. (6)
The tribe of Judah:
For it is evident
that our Lord was descended from Judah,
and in regard to that tribe
Moses said nothing about priests. (7)
and one of the elders said to me,
"Stop weeping;
behold, the Lion that is from the tribe of Judah,
the Root of David,
has overcome so as to open
the book and its seven seals." (
Tread under foot the holy city:
We are ashamed because we have heard reproach;
Disgrace has covered our faces,
for aliens have entered the holy places
of Yahveh's house.(9)
The holy places:
"It is Yahveh of hosts
whom you should regard as holy.
And He shall be your fear,
And He shall be your dread.
"Then He shall become a sanctuary;(10)

Rev 11:3 "And I will grant authority to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy for twelve hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth."
Witnesses:
Men shall buy fields for silver,
sign and seal deeds,
and call in witnesses
in the land of Benjamin,
in the environs of Jerusalem,
in the cities of Judah,
in the cities of the hill country,
in the cities of the lowland,
and in the cities of the Negev;
for I will restore their fortunes,'
declares Yahveh. (1)
Silver:
The words of Yahveh are pure words;
as silver tried in a furnace on the earth,
refined seven times. (2)
Fields:
For we are God's fellow workers;
you are God's field, God's building. (3)
(Referring to our bodies.)
The one who believes in the Son of God
has the witness in himself;
the one who does not believe God
has made Him a liar,
because he has not believed in the witness
that God has borne concerning His Son.
And the witness is this,
that God has given us eternal life,
and this life is in His Son. (4)
And I fell at his feet to worship him.
And he said to me, "Do not do that;
I am a fellow servant of yours and your brothers
who hold the testimony of Jesus;
worship God.
For the testimony of Jesus
is the spirit of prophecy." (5)
Search the Scriptures,
because you think
that in them you have eternal life;
and it is these that bear witness of Me. (6)
The words of the Scriptures explained
are the name of Jesus:
And beginning with Moses and with all the prophets,
He explained to them the things
concerning Himself in all the Scriptures.(7)
Sackcloth:
Now the first came forth red,
all over like a hairy garment;
and they named him Esau. (
(Esau means hairy,
selling his birthright to Jacob,
speaking his own words.)
"Also it will come about in that day
that the prophets will each be ashamed of his vision
when he prophesies,
and they will not put on a hairy robe
in order to deceive. (9)
Elijah in a hairy robe:
And they answered him, "He was a hairy man
with a leather girdle bound about his loins."
And he said, "It is Elijah the Tishbite." (10)
Sackcloth (one’s own words).
A leather girdle bound about the loins clinging to God:
'For as the waistband clings to the waist of a man,
so I made the whole household of Israel
and the whole household of Judah cling to Me,'
declares Yahveh,'
that they might be for Me a people,
for renown, for praise, and for glory;
but they did not listen.' (11)
And he was afraid and arose and ran for his life
and came to Beersheba, which belongs to Judah,
and left his servant there.
But he himself went a day's journey
into the wilderness,
and came and sat down under a juniper tree;
and he requested for himself that he might die,
and said, "It is enough;
now, O Lord, take my life,
for I am not better than my fathers." (12)
Requesting Yahveh to take his life-
also with his own words.
Prophecy:
The Word:
In the beginning was the Word,
and the Word was with God,
and the Word was God.
He was in the beginning with God. (13)
The Word is the word of Christ:
"And if anyone hears My sayings,
and does not keep them, I do not judge him;
for I did not come to judge the world,
but to save the world.
"He who rejects Me,
and does not receive My sayings,
has one who judges him;
the word I spoke is
what will judge him at the last day. (14)
However, they did not all heed the glad tidings;
for Isaiah says, " Lord, who has believed our report? "
So faith comes from hearing,
and hearing by the word of Christ. (15)
As to this salvation, the prophets
who prophesied of the grace
that would come to you
made careful search and inquiry,
seeking to know what person or time
the Spirit of Christ within them
was indicating as He predicted
the sufferings of Christ and the glories to follow.
It was revealed to them
that they were not serving themselves,
but you, in these things
which now have been announced to you
through those who preached the gospel to you
by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven—
things into which angels long to look. (16)
And when He broke the fifth seal,
I saw underneath the altar the souls of those
who had been slain because of the word of God,
and because of the testimony
which they had maintained;
Twelve hundred and sixty days:
(Three hundred and sixty days a year ) three and a half years.

Rev 11:4 These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands that stand before the Lord of the earth.
The olive tree:
Ps 52:8 But as for me,
I am like a green olive tree
in the house of God;
I trust in the lovingkindness of God
forever and ever.
Hos 14:4 I will heal their apostasy,
I will love them freely,
for My anger has turned away from them. 5
I will be like the dew to Israel;
He will blossom like the lily,
and he will take root like the cedars of Lebanon. 6
His shoots will sprout,
and his beauty will be like the olive tree,
and his fragrance like the cedars of Lebanon.
Zec 4:1 Then the angel
who was speaking with me returned,
and roused me as a man
who is awakened from his sleep. 2
And he said to me, "What do you see?"
And I said, "I see, and behold,
a lampstand all of gold
with its bowl on the top of it,
and its seven lamps on it with seven spouts
belonging to each of the lamps
which are on the top of it; 3
also two olive trees by it,
one on the right side of the bowl
and the other on its left side. " 4
Then I answered and said to the angel
who was speaking with me saying,
"What are these, my lord?" 5
So the angel
who was speaking with me answered
and said to me,
"Do you not know what these are?"
And I said, "No, my lord."
Zec 4:11 Then I answered and said to him,
"What are these two olive trees
on the right of the lampstand and on its left?" 12
And I answered the second time and said to him,
"What are the two olive branches
which are beside the two golden pipes,
which empty the golden oil from themselves?" 13
So he answered me saying,
"Do you not know what these are?"
And I said, "No, my lord." 14
Then he said, "These are the two anointed ones,
who are standing by Yahveh of the whole earth."
The lampstand:
Zec 4:1 Then the angel
who was speaking with me returned,
and roused me as a man
who is awakened from his sleep. 2
And he said to me, "What do you see?"
And I said, "I see, and behold,
a lampstand all of gold
with its bowl on the top of it,
and its seven lamps on it
with seven spouts
belonging to each of the lamps
which are on the top of it; 3
also two olive trees by it,
one on the right side of the bowl
and the other on its left side. "
Seven lamps on the lampstand:
Rev 4:5 And from the throne proceed flashes of lightning
and sounds and peals of thunder.
And [there were] seven lamps of fire
burning before the throne,
which are the seven Spirits of God;
Before the Lord of the earth:
1Sa 10:25 Then Samuel told the people
the ordinances of the kingdom,
and wrote [them] in the book
and placed [it] before Yahveh.
And Samuel sent all the people away,
each one to his house.
(The law is written on the book
and placed before Yahveh.)
Ex 8:22 "But on that day
I will set apart the land of Goshen,
where My people are living,
so that no swarms of insects will be there,
in order that you may know
that I, Yahveh, am in the midst of the land.
Ex 9:13 Then Yahveh said to Moses,
"Rise up early in the morning
and stand before Pharaoh and say to him,
'Thus says Yahveh, the God of the Hebrews,"
Let My people go,
that they may serve Me. 14
"For this time I will send all My plagues on you
and your servants and your people,
so that you may know
that there is no one like Me in all the earth.
La 3:64 You will recompense them, O Yahveh,
according to the work of their hands. 65
You will give them hardness of heart,
Your curse will be on them. 66
You will pursue them in anger and destroy them
from under the heavens of Yahveh!
Zec 6:4 Then I spoke and said to the angel
who was speaking with me,
"What are these, my lord?" 5
And the angel answered and said to me,
"These are the four winds of heaven,
going forth after standing before
the Lord of all the earth.

Rev 11:5 And if anyone desires to harm them, fire proceeds out of their mouth and devours their enemies; and if anyone would desire to harm them, in this manner he must be killed.
Fire proceeds out of their mouth:
Jer 5:14 Therefore, thus says Yahveh, the God of hosts,
"Because you have spoken this word,
Behold, I am making My words in your mouth
fire
and this people
wood,
and it will consume them.
Hos 6:4 What shall I do with you, O Ephraim?
What shall I do with you, O Judah?
For your loyalty is like a morning cloud,
and like the dew which goes away early. 5
Therefore I have hewn them in pieces by the prophets;
I have slain them by the words of My mouth;
And the judgments on you are [like] the light that goes forth. 6
For I delight in loyalty rather than sacrifice,
and in the knowledge of God rather than burnt offerings.
Isa 11:3 And He will delight in the fear of Yahveh,
and He will not judge by what His eyes see,
nor make a decision by what His ears hear; 4
but with righteousness He will judge the poor,
and decide with fairness for the afflicted of the earth;
and He will strike the earth with the rod of His mouth,
and with the breath of His lips He will slay the wicked.
2Th 2:8 And then that lawless one will be revealed
whom the Lord will slay with the breath of His mouth
and bring to an end by the appearance of His coming;
Rev 11:6 These have the power to shut up the sky, in order that rain may not fall during the days of their prophesying; and they have power over the waters to turn them into blood, and to smite the earth with every plague, as often as they desire.
To shut up the sky in order that rain may not fall:
Lk 4:25 "But I say to you in truth,
there were many widows in Israel in the days of Elijah,
when the sky was shut up for three years and six months,
when a great famine came over all the land;
Jas 5:17 Elijah was a man with a nature like ours,
and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain;
and it did not rain on the earth for three years and six months. 18
And he prayed again, and the sky poured rain,
and the earth produced its fruit.
The rain
(refers to the word of Yahveh):
Job 29:21 "To me they listened and waited,
and kept silent for my counsel. 22
"After my words they did not speak again,
and my speech dropped on them. 23
"And they waited for me as for the rain,
and opened their mouth as for the spring rain.
Hos 10:11 And Ephraim is a trained heifer that loves to thresh,
but I will come over her fair neck [with a yoke];
I will harness Ephraim,
Judah will plow, Jacob will harrow for himself. 12
Sow with a view to righteousness,
reap in accordance with kindness;
break up your fallow ground,
for it is time to seek Yahveh
Until He comes to rain righteousness on you.
(Righteousness:
1Jn 2:28 And now, little children, abide in Him,
so that when He appears, we may have confidence
and not shrink away from Him in shame at His coming. 29
If you know that He is righteous,
you know that everyone also who practices righteousness
is born of Him.)
Dt 32:1 "Give ear, O heavens, and let me speak;
and let the earth hear the words of my mouth. 2
"Let my teaching drop as the rain,
My speech distill as the dew,
as the droplets on the fresh grass
and as the showers on the herb. 3
"For I proclaim the name of Yahveh;
Ascribe greatness to our God!
Until it gets the early and late rains:
Jas 5:7 Be patient, therefore, brothers,
until the coming of the Lord.
Behold, the farmer waits
for the precious produce of the soil,
being patient about it,
until it gets the early and late rains.
Zec 10:1 Ask rain from Yahveh at the time of the spring rain—
Yahveh who makes the storm clouds;
And He will give them showers of rain,
vegetation in the field to man.
Am 4:7 "And furthermore, I withheld the rain from you
while [there were] still three months until harvest.
Then I would send rain on one city
and on another city I would not send rain;
One part would be rained on,
while the part not rained on would dry up. 8
"So two or three cities would stagger to another city to drink water,
but would not be satisfied;
yet you have not returned to Me," declares Yahveh.
To turn the waters into blood:
Ex 7:17 'Thus says Yahveh,
"By this you shall know that I am Yahveh:
behold, I will strike the water that is in the Nile
with the staff that is in my hand,
and it shall be turned to blood.
Ex 4:8 "And it shall come about that if they will not believe you
or heed the witness of the first sign,
they may believe the witness of the last sign. 9
"But it shall be that if they will not believe even these two signs
or heed what you say,
then you shall take some water from the Nile
and pour it on the dry ground;
and the water which you take from the Nile
will become blood on the dry ground."
(Refusing to heed the word of Yahveh
spoken through Moses,
the water of the doctrines of men will be changed into life,
like justified by faith and saved by grace.)

Rev 11:7 And when they have finished their testimony, the beast that comes up out of the abyss will make war with them, and overcome them and kill them. 8 And their dead bodies [will lie] in the street of the great city which mystically is called Sodom and Egypt, where also their Lord was crucified.
Kill them:
Rev 6:9 And when He broke the fifth seal,
I saw underneath the altar
the souls of those who had been slain
because of the word of God,
and because of the testimony
which they had maintained; 10
and they cried out with a loud voice, saying,
"How long, O Lord, holy and true,
will You refrain from judging and avenging our blood
on those who dwell on the earth?" 11
And there was given to each of them a white robe;
and they were told that they should rest
for a little while longer,
until the number of their fellow servants and their brothers
who were to be killed even as they had been,
should be completed also.
Lk 6:22 "Blessed are you when men hate you,
and ostracize you, and cast insults at you,
and spurn your name as evil,
for the sake of the Son of Man. 23
"Be glad in that day, and leap [for joy,]
for behold, your reward is great in heaven;
for in the same way their fathers used to treat the prophets.
Mt 5:10 "Blessed are those who have been persecuted
for the sake of righteousness,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 11
"Blessed are you when men cast insults at you,
and persecute you,
and say all kinds of evil against you falsely,
on account of Me. 12
"Rejoice, and be glad,
for your reward in heaven is great,
for so they persecuted the prophets
who were before you.
The great city:
Rev 14:8 And another angel, a second one, followed,
saying, "Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great,
she who has made all the nations drink of the wine
of the passion of her immorality."
Babylon the great.
Rev 18:2 And he cried out with a mighty voice,
saying, "Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great!
And she has become a dwelling place of demons
and a prison of every unclean spirit,
and a prison of every unclean and hateful bird.
Which spiritually is called Sodom:
Zep 2:9 "Therefore, as I live,"
declares Yahveh of hosts, the God of Israel,
"Surely Moab will be like Sodom,
and the sons of Ammon like Gomorrah—
a place possessed by nettles and salt pits,
and a perpetual desolation.
The remnant of My people will plunder them,
and the remainder of My nation will inherit them."
Isa 13:19 And Babylon, the beauty of kingdoms,
the glory of the Chaldeans' pride,
will be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah.
Egypt:
Hos 8:12 Though I wrote for him
ten thousand precepts of My law,
they are regarded as a strange thing. 13
As for My sacrificial gifts,
they sacrifice the flesh and eat it,
but Yahveh has taken no delight in them.
Now He will remember their iniquity,
and punish them for their sins;
they will return to Egypt.
Where their Lord was crucified:
Heb 6:4 For in the case of those who have once been enlightened
and have tasted of the heavenly gift
and have been made partakers of the Holy Spirit, 5
and have tasted the good word of God
and the powers of the age to come, 6
and then have fallen away,
it is impossible to renew them again to repentance,
since they again crucify to themselves the Son of God,
and put Him to open shame. 7
For ground that drinks the rain which often falls upon it
and brings forth vegetation useful to those
for whose sake it is also tilled,
receives a blessing from God; 8
but if it yields thorns and thistles,
it is worthless and close to being cursed,
and it ends up being burned.
Php 3:17 Brothers, join in following my example,
and observe those
who walk according to the pattern you have in us. 18
For many walk, of whom I often told you,
and now tell you even weeping,
that they are enemies of the cross of Christ, 19
whose end is destruction,
whose god is their appetite,
and whose glory is in their shame,
who set their minds on earthly things.
(Setting their minds on earthly things
is the enemy of the cross of Christ.)

Rev 11:9 And those from the peoples and tribes and tongues and nations will look at their dead bodies for three and a half days, and will not permit their dead bodies to be laid in a tomb.
Three and a half days:
Eze 4:6 "When you have completed these,
you shall lie down a second time,
[but] on your right side,
and bear the iniquity of the house of Judah;
I have assigned it to you for forty days,
a day for each year.
(A day for each year )
also three years and a half.
Nu 14:34 'According to the number of days
which you spied out the land, forty days,
for every day you shall bear your guilt a year,
forty years,
and you shall know My opposition.
(A day for each year.)
The tomb
(refers to man’s body):
Eze 37:11 Then He said to me,
"Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel;
behold, they say, 'Our bones are dried up,
and our hope has perished.
We are completely cut off.' 12
"Therefore prophesy, and say to them,
'Thus says Yahveh God,
" Behold, I will open your graves
and cause you to come up out of your graves, My people;
and I will bring you into the land of Israel. 13
"Then you will know that I am Yahveh,
when I have opened your graves
and caused you to come up out of your graves, My people. 14
"And I will put My Spirit within you,
and you will come to life,
and I will place you on your own land.
Then you will know that I, Yahveh,
have spoken and done it," declares Yahveh.' "
These bones are the whole house of Israel,
Yahveh puts His Spirit within our bodies,
and we will come to life:
Ps 22:25 From You comes my praise in the great assembly;
I shall pay my vows before those who fear Him. 26
The afflicted shall eat and be satisfied;
those who seek Him will praise Yahveh.
Let your heart live forever!
(The heart lives forever.)
Every selfish heart of ours is a dead king:
Eze 43:6 Then I heard one speaking to me from the house,
while a man was standing beside me. 7
And He said to me,
"Son of man, this is the place of My throne
and the place of the soles of My feet,
where I will dwell among the sons of Israel forever.
And the house of Israel will not again defile My holy name,
neither they nor their kings,
by their harlotry and by the corpses of their kings
when they die, 8
by setting their threshold by My threshold,
and their door post beside My door post,
with only the wall between Me and them.
And they have defiled My holy name
by their abominations which they have committed.
So I have consumed them in My anger. 9
"Now let them put away their harlotry
and the corpses of their kings far from Me;
and I will dwell among them forever.
Jn 5:24 "Truly, truly, I say to you,
he who hears My word,
and believes Him who sent Me,
has eternal life, and does not come into judgment,
but has passed out of death into life. 25
"Truly, truly, I say to you,
an hour is coming and now is,
when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God;
and those who hear shall live. 26
"For just as the Father has life in Himself,
so He gave to the Son to have life in Himself; 27
and He gave Him authority to execute judgment,
because He is the Son of Man. 28
"Do not marvel at this; for an hour is coming,
in which all who are in the tombs shall hear His voice, 29
and shall come forth;
those who did good
to a resurrection of life,
those who committed evil
to a resurrection of judgment.
(To follow one’s selfish heart is in the tomb;
to follow the word of God is to come out of the tomb.)
Attention: Those who hear shall live,
does not this word refer to man’s body?

Rev 11:10 And those who dwell on the earth [will] rejoice over them and make merry; and they will send gifts to one another, because these two prophets tormented those who dwell on the earth. 11 And after the three and a half days the breath of life from God came into them, and they stood on their feet; and great fear fell upon those who were beholding them.
The breath of life from God came into them.
The breath of life is God:
Ge 2:7 Then Yahveh God formed man of dust from the ground,
and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life;
and man became a living being.
The Spirit is God:
Jn 4:24 "God is spirit,
and those who worship Him must worship
in spirit and truth."
Isa 40:6 A voice says, "Call out."
Then he answered, "What shall I call out?"
All flesh is grass,
and all its loveliness is like the flower of the field. 7
The grass withers, the flower fades,
when the breath of Yahveh blows upon it;
surely the people are grass. 8
The grass withers, the flower fades,
but the word of our God stands forever.
Jn 20:21 Jesus therefore said to them again,
"Peace [be] with you; as the Father has sent Me,
I also send you." 22
And when He had said this, He breathed on them,
and said to them, "Receive the Holy Spirit.
(The life breath Jesus speaks is the Holy Spirit.)
Jn 6:62 "What if you should behold the Son of Man
ascending where He was before? 63
"It is the Spirit who gives life;
the flesh profits nothing;
the words that I have spoken to you
are spirit and are life.
Rev 11:12 And they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, "Come up here." And they went up into heaven in the cloud, and their enemies beheld them.
Mt 25:10 "And while they were going away to make the purchase,
the bridegroom came, and those who were ready
went in with him to the wedding feast; and the door was shut. 11
"And later the other virgins also came, saying,
'Lord, lord, open up for us.' 12
"But he answered and said, 'Truly I say to you,
I do not know you.'
(The door: Jesus is the door,
Jn 10:7 Jesus therefore said to them again, "Truly, truly,
I say to you, I am the door of the sheep.
Salvation belongs to Yahveh:
Ps 3:8 Salvation belongs to Yahveh;
Your blessing [be] upon Your people!
Shut the door: shut the door of salvation.)
Lk 13:24 "Strive to enter by the narrow door;
for many, I tell you, will seek to enter and will not be able. 25
"Once the head of the house gets up and shuts the door,
and you begin to stand outside and knock on the door,
saying, 'Lord, open up to us!'
then He will answer and say to you,
'I do not know where you are from.' 26
"Then you will begin to say,
'We ate and drank in Your presence,
and You taught in our streets'; 27
and He will say,' I tell you, I do not know
where you are from; depart from Me,
all you evildoers.'
Lk 12:35 "Be dressed in readiness, and [keep] your lamps alight. 36
"And be like men who are waiting for their master
when he returns from the wedding feast,
so that they may immediately open the door to him
when he comes and knocks. 37
"Blessed are those slaves
whom the master shall find on the alert when he comes;
truly I say to you, that he will gird himself to serve,
and have them recline at the table,
and will come up and wait on them. 38
"Whether he comes in the second watch,
or even in the third, and finds them so,
blessed are those. 39
"And be sure of this, that if the head of the house
had known at what hour the thief was coming,
he would not have allowed his house to be broken into. 40
"You too, be ready;
for the Son of Man is coming at an hour
that you do not expect."

Rev 11:13 And in that hour there was a great earthquake, and a tenth of the city fell; and seven thousand people were killed in the earthquake, and the rest were terrified and gave glory to the God of heaven. 14 The second woe is past; behold, the third woe is coming quickly.
There was a great earthquake:
1Sa 14:15 And there was a trembling in the camp,
in the field, and among all the people.
Even the garrison and the raiders trembled,
and the earth quaked
so that it became a great trembling.
(The earth quaked so that it became a great trembling.)
Isa 66:1 Thus says Yahveh, "Heaven is My throne,
and the earth is My footstool.
Where then is a house you could build for Me?
And where is a place that I may rest? 2
"For My hand made all these things,
thus all these things came into being,"
declares Yahveh. "But to this one I will look,
to him who is humble and contrite of spirit,
and who trembles at My word.
Isa 66:5 Hear the word of Yahveh,
you who tremble at His word:
"Your brothers who hate you,
who exclude you for My name's sake,
have said, 'Let Yahveh be glorified,
that we may see your joy.'
But they will be put to shame. 6
"A voice of uproar from the city,
a voice from the temple,
the voice of Yahveh
who is rendering recompense to His enemies.
Seven thousand people were killed in the earthquake:
2Co 4:10 always carrying about in the body the dying of Jesus,
that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body. 11
For we who live are constantly being delivered over to death
for Jesus' sake,
that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh. 12
So death works in us, but life in you. 13
But having the same spirit of faith, according to what is written,
" I believed, therefore I spoke, "
we also believe, therefore also we speak; 14
knowing that He who raised the Lord Jesus
will raise us also with Jesus
and will present us with you.
(Paul always carries about the death of Jesus,
that is, speaks with the mouth the word of God,
which is the name of Jesus,
and his own will is delivered over to death.)
Ro 11:2 God has not rejected His people whom He foreknew.
Or do you not know what the Scripture says about Elijah,
how he pleads with God against Israel? 3
"Lord, they have killed Your prophets,
they have torn down Your altars,
and I alone am left, and they are seeking my life." 4
But what is the divine response to him?
"I have kept for Myself seven thousand men
who have not bowed the knee to Baal." 5
In the same way then, there has also come
to be at the present time a remnant
according to [God's] gracious choice. 6
But if it is by grace, it is no longer on the basis of works,
otherwise grace is no longer grace. 7
What then? That which Israel is seeking for,
it has not obtained,
but those who were chosen obtained it,
and the rest were hardened; 8 just as it is written,
"God gave them a spirit of stupor,
Eyes to see not and ears to hear not,
down to this very day."
Baal:
Jer 9:14 but [they] have walked
after the stubbornness of their heart
and after the Baals,
as their fathers taught them.
(These seven thousand men
have not bowed the knee to
or worshiped their stubborn selfish heart.)
1Ki 19:18 "Yet I will leave 7,000 in Israel,
all the knees that have not bowed to Baal
and every mouth that has not kissed him."
(He, who has not bowed the knee to his self,
has not kissed his own words)
Yahveh has kept for Himself seven thousand:
the Spirit of Yahveh will move 7,000 men
to speak the word of God,
and their own words die.

Rev 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there arose loud voices in heaven, saying, "The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord, and of His Christ; and He will reign forever and ever." 16 And the twenty-four elders, who sit on their thrones before God, fell on their faces and worshiped God, 17 saying, "We give You thanks, O Lord God, the Almighty, who are and who were, because You have taken Your great power and have begun to reign.
The seventh trumpet refers to the last trumpet:
1Co 15:50 Now I say this, brothers,
that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God;
nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. 51
Behold, I tell you a mystery;
we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52
in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet;
for the trumpet will sound,
and the dead will be raised imperishable,
and we shall be changed. 53
For this perishable must put on the imperishable,
and this mortal must put on immortality. 54
But when this perishable will have put on the imperishable,
and this mortal will have put on immortality,
then will come about the saying that is written,
"Death is swallowed up in victory.
1Co 15:24 then [comes] the end,
when He delivers up the kingdom to the God and Father,
when He has abolished all rule and all authority and power. 25
For He must reign until He has put all His enemies under His feet. 26
The last enemy that will be abolished is death. 27
For He has put all things in subjection under His feet.
But when He says, "All things are put in subjection,"
it is evident that He is excepted
who put all things in subjection to Him. 28
And when all things are subjected to Him,
then the Son Himself also will be subjected to the One
who subjected all things to Him,
that God may be all in all.
Lk 19:26 "I tell you,
that to everyone who has shall more be given,
but from the one who does not have,
even what he does have shall be taken away. 27
"But these enemies of mine,
who did not want me to reign over them,
bring them here and slay them in my presence."
Rev 19:5 And a voice came from the throne, saying,
"Give praise to our God, all you His bond-servants,
you who fear Him, the small and the great." 6
And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude
and as the sound of many waters
and as the sound of mighty peals of thunder,
saying, "Hallelujah!
For the Lord our God, the Almighty, reigns.
Rev 11:18 "And the nations were enraged, and Your wrath came, and the time [came] for the dead to be judged, and [the time] to give their reward to Your bond-servants the prophets and to the saints and to those who fear Your name, the small and the great, and to destroy those who destroy the earth."
The nations were enraged, and Your wrath came:
Jer 5:18 "Yet even in those days," declares Yahveh,
"I will not make you a complete destruction. 19
"And it shall come about when they say,
'Why has Yahveh our God done all these things to us?'
then you shall say to them, 'As you have forsaken Me
and served foreign gods in your land,
so you shall serve aliens in a land that is not yours.'
(Serve the foreign gods, and serve aliens)
Dt 32:21 'They have made Me jealous with what is not God;
they have provoked Me to anger with their idols.
So I will make them jealous with those who are not a people;
I will provoke them to anger with a foolish nation, 22
for a fire is kindled in My anger,
and burns to the lowest part of Sheol,
and consumes the earth with its yield,
and sets on fire the foundations of the mountains. 23
' I will heap misfortunes on them;
I will use My arrows on them. 24 '
They shall be wasted by famine,
and consumed by plague and bitter destruction;
And the teeth of beasts I will send upon them,
with the venom of crawling things of the dust. 25
'Outside the sword shall bereave, and inside terror—
both young man and virgin,
the nursling with the man of gray hair. 26
'I would have said, "I will cut them to pieces,
I will remove the memory of them from men,"
Ro 10:19 But I say, surely Israel did not know, did they?
At the first Moses says,
"I will make you jealous by that which is not a nation,
by a nation without understanding
will I anger you."
Rev 16:13 And I saw
coming out of the mouth of the dragon
and out of the mouth of the beast
and out of the mouth of the false prophet,
three unclean spirits like frogs; 14
for they are spirits of demons, performing signs,
which go out to the kings of the whole world,
to gather them together
for the war of the great day of God, the Almighty.
Zep 1:14 Near is the great day of Yahveh,
near and coming very quickly;
listen, the day of Yahveh!
In it the warrior cries out bitterly. 15
a day of wrath is that day,
a day of trouble and distress,
a day of destruction and desolation,
a day of darkness and gloom,
a day of clouds and thick darkness, 16
a day of trumpet and battle cry,
against the fortified cities and the high corner towers. 17
And I will bring distress on men,
so that they will walk like the blind,
because they have sinned against Yahveh;
and their blood will be poured out like dust,
and their flesh like dung. 18
Neither their silver nor their gold
will be able to deliver them on the day of Yahveh's wrath;
and all the earth will be devoured in the fire of His jealousy,
for He will make a complete end, indeed a terrifying one,
of all the inhabitants of the earth.
Rev 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying,
"Come out of her, my people,
that you may not participate in her sins
and that you may not receive of her plagues; 5
for her sins have piled up as high as heaven,
and God has remembered her iniquities. 6
"Pay her back even as she has paid,
and give back [to her] double according to her deeds;
in the cup which she has mixed,
mix twice as much for her. 7
"To the degree that she glorified herself and lived sensuously,
to the same degree give her torment and mourning;
for she says in her heart,
'I sit as a queen and I am not a widow,
and will never see mourning.' 8
"For this reason in one day her plagues will come,
pestilence and mourning and famine,
and she will be burned up with fire;
for the Lord God who judges her is strong. 9
"And the kings of the earth, who committed immorality
and lived sensuously with her,
will weep and lament over her
when they see the smoke of her burning, 10
standing at a distance
because of the fear of her torment, saying,
' Woe, woe, the great city, Babylon, the strong city!
For in one hour your judgment has come.'
The time to give their reward to the small and the great:
1Pe 5:1 Therefore, I exhort the elders among you,
as your fellow elder and witness of the sufferings of Christ,
and a partaker also of the glory that is to be revealed, 2
shepherd the flock of God among you,
exercising oversight not under compulsion,
but voluntarily, according to God;
and not for sordid gain, but with eagerness; 3
nor yet as lording it over those allotted to your charge,
but proving to be examples to the flock. 4
And when the Chief Shepherd appears,
you will receive the unfading crown of glory.
2Ti 4:7 I have fought the good fight,
I have finished the course,
I have kept the faith; 8
in the future there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness,
which the Lord, the righteous Judge,
will award to me on that day;
and not only to me, but also to all
who have loved His appearing.
Jas 1:12 Blessed is a man who perseveres under trial;
for once he has been approved,
he will receive the crown of life,
which [the Lord] has promised to those who love Him.
Rev 2:10 'Do not fear what you are about to suffer.
Behold, the devil is about to cast some of you into prison,
that you may be tested,
and you will have tribulation ten days.
Be faithful until death,
and I will give you the crown of life. 11
'He who has an ear, let him hear
what the Spirit says to the churches.
He who overcomes shall not be hurt by the second death.'
Ps 21:1 O Yahveh, in Your strength the king will be glad,
And in Your salvation how greatly he will rejoice! 2
You have given him his heart's desire,
and You have not withheld the request of his lips. Selah. 3
For You do meet him with the blessings of good things;
You do set a crown of fine gold on his head. 4
He asked life of You,
You did give it to him, length of days forever and ever. 5
His glory is great through Your salvation, splendor and majesty
You do place upon him. 6
For You do make him most blessed forever;
You do make him joyful with gladness in Your presence.
Rev 14:12 Here is the perseverance of the saints
who keep the commandments of God and their faith in Jesus. 13
And I heard a voice from heaven, saying,
"Write, 'Blessed are the dead
who die in the Lord from now on!'"
"Yes," says the Spirit,
"that they may rest from their labors,
for their deeds follow with them."
The time to destroy those who destroy the earth:
2Th 1:4 therefore, we ourselves speak proudly of you
among the churches of God for your perseverance
and faith in the midst of all your persecutions and afflictions
which you endure. 5
This is a plain indication of God's righteous judgment
so that you may be considered worthy of the kingdom of God,
for which indeed you are suffering. 6
For after all it is just for God to repay with affliction
those who afflict you, 7
and [to give] relief to you who are afflicted
and to us as well
when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven
with His mighty angels in flaming fire, 8
dealing out retribution to those who do not know God
and to those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. 9
And these will pay the penalty of eternal destruction,
away from the presence of the Lord
and from the glory of His power, 10
when He comes to be glorified in His saints on that day,
and to be marveled at among all who have believed—
for our testimony to you was believed.
Rev 19:1 After these things I heard,
as it were, a loud voice of a great multitude in heaven,
saying, "Hallelujah! Salvation
and glory and power belong to our God; 2
because His judgments are true and righteous;
for He has judged the great harlot
who was corrupting the earth with her immorality,
and He has avenged the blood of His bond-servants on her. " 3
And a second time they said, "Hallelujah!
Her smoke rises up forever and ever." 4
And the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures
fell down and worshiped God
who sits on the throne saying, "Amen. Hallelujah!"
Rev 19:19 And I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies,
assembled to make war against Him
who sat upon the horse, and against His army. 20
And the beast was seized, and with him the false prophet
who performed the signs in his presence,
by which he deceived those
who had received the mark of the beast and those
who worshiped his image; these two
were thrown alive into the lake of fire
which burns with brimstone.
Eze 39:11 "And it will come about on that day
that I shall give Gog a burial ground there in Israel,
the valley of those who pass by east of the sea,
and it will block off the passers-by.
So they will bury Gog there with all his multitude,
and they will call [it] the valley of Hamon-gog. 12
"For seven months the house of Israel will be burying them
in order to cleanse the land. 13
"Even all the people of the land will bury them;
and it will be to their renown
the day that I glorify Myself," declares Yahveh God. 14
"And they will set apart men
who will constantly pass through the land,
burying those who were passing through,
even those left on the surface of the ground,
in order to cleanse it.
At the end of seven months they will make a search. 15
"And as those who pass through the land pass through
and anyone sees a man's bone,
then he will set up a marker by it
until the buriers have buried it in the valley of Hamon-gog. 16
"And the name of the city will be Hamonah.
So they will cleanse the land."'
2Th 2:8 And then that lawless one will be revealed
whom the Lord will slay with the breath of His mouth
and bring to an end by the appearance of His coming; 9
the one whose coming is in accord with the activity of Satan,
with all power and signs and false wonders, 10
and with all the deception of wickedness for those who perish,
because they did not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved. 11
And for this reason God will send upon them
a deluding influence so that they might believe what is false, 12
in order that they all may be judged
who did not believe the truth,
but took pleasure in wickedness.
Ps 37:30 The mouth of the righteous utters wisdom,
and his tongue speaks justice. 31
The law of his God is in his heart;
His steps do not slip. 32
The wicked spies upon the righteous, and seeks to kill him. 33
Yahveh will not leave him in his hand,
or let him be condemned when he is judged. 34
Wait for Yahveh, and keep His way,
and He will exalt you to inherit the land;
when the wicked are cut off, you will see it. 35
I have seen a violent, wicked man spreading himself
like a green tree in its native soil. 36
Then he passed away, and lo, he was no more;
I sought for him, but he could not be found. 37
Mark the blameless man, and behold the upright;
For the man of peace will have a posterity. 38
But transgressors will be altogether destroyed;
the posterity of the wicked will be cut off.

Rev 11:19 And the temple of God which is in heaven was opened; and the ark of His covenant appeared in His temple, and there were flashes of lightning and sounds and peals of thunder and an earthquake and a great hailstorm.
The ark of His covenant:
Yahveh instructed Moses to make an ark with acacia wood,
acacia wood:
Ex 25:1 Then Yahveh spoke to Moses, saying, 2
"Tell the sons of Israel to raise a contribution for Me;
from every man whose heart moves him
you shall raise My contribution. 3
"And this is the contribution
which you are to raise from them:
gold, silver and bronze, 4
blue, purple and scarlet
fine linen, goat hair, 5 rams' skins dyed red,
porpoise skins, acacia wood,
Those whose heart moves them
are contributed to Yahveh
and are acacia wood.
1Ch 28:2 Then King David rose to his feet and said,
"Listen to me, my brothers and my people;
I [had] intended to build a permanent home
for the ark of the covenant of Yahveh and
for the footstool of our God.
So I had made preparations to build.
Ps 37:30 The mouth of the righteous utters wisdom,
and his tongue speaks justice. 31
The law of his God is in his heart;
His steps do not slip.
(The body of David is the Ark of the Covenant.)
Zec 12:7 "Yahveh also will save the tents of Judah first
in order that the glory of the house of David
and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem
may not be magnified above Judah. 8
"In that day Yahveh will defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem,
and the one who is feeble among them in that day
will be like David,
and the house of David like God,
like the angel of Yahveh before them.
Flashes of lightning:
Eze 21:8 Again the word of Yahveh came to me saying, 9
"Son of man, prophesy and say, 'Thus says Yahveh.'
Say, 'A sword, a sword sharpened and also polished! 10
'Sharpened to make a slaughter,
Polished to flash like lightning!'
Or shall we rejoice, the rod of My son despising every tree? 11
"And it is given to be polished, that it may be handled;
the sword is sharpened and polished,
to give it into the hand of the slayer. 12
"Cry out and wail, son of man;
for it is against My people,
it is against all the officials of Israel.
They are delivered over to the sword with My people,
therefore strike your thigh. 13
"For there is a testing;
and what if even the rod which despises will be no more?"
declares Yahveh God. 14
"You therefore, son of man, prophesy,
and clap [your] hands together;
and let the sword be doubled the third time,
the sword for the slain.
It is the sword for the great one slain,
which surrounds them, 15
that their hearts may melt, and many fall at all their gates.
I have given the glittering sword.
Ah! It is made for striking like lightning,
it is wrapped up for slaughter. 16
"Show yourself sharp, go to the right;
set yourself; go to the left,
wherever your edge is appointed. 17
"I shall also clap My hands together,
and I shall appease My wrath;
I, Yahveh, have spoken."
The word of Yahveh comes upon Ezekiel
whose prophecy is a sharpened sword,
sharpened like lightening.
Eze 21:28 "And you, son of man, prophesy and say,
'Thus says Yahveh God concerning the sons of Ammon
and concerning their reproach,' and say:
'A sword, a sword is drawn,
polished for the slaughter,
to cause it to consume,
that it may be like lightning-- 29
while they see for you false visions,
while they divine lies for you—
to place you on the necks of the wicked who are slain,
whose day has come,
in the time of the punishment of the end. 30
'Return it to its sheath.
In the place where you were created,
in the land of your origin, I shall judge you. 31
'And I shall pour out My indignation on you;
I shall blow on you with the fire of My wrath,
and I shall give you into the hand of brutal men,
skilled in destruction. 32
'You will be fuel for the fire;
your blood will be in the midst of the land.
You will not be remembered,
for I, Yahveh, have spoken.' "
Zec 10:1 Ask rain from Yahveh at the time of the spring rain—
Yahveh who sends lightening;
and He will give them showers of rain,
vegetation in the field to man.
(The lightening is Yahveh)
Sounds:
1Ki 19:11 So He said, "Go forth,
and stand on the mountain before Yahveh."
And behold, Yahveh was passing by!
And a great and strong wind was rending the mountains
and breaking in pieces the rocks before Yahveh;
but Yahveh was not in the wind.
And after the wind an earthquake,
but Yahveh was not in the earthquake. 12
And after the earthquake a fire,
but Yahveh was not in the fire;
and after the fire a sound
of a gentle blowing.
(The sound is Yahveh)
Job 4:12 "Now a word was brought to me stealthily,
and my ear received a whisper of it. 13
"Amid disquieting thoughts from the visions of the night,
when deep sleep falls on men, 14 dread came upon me,
and trembling, and made all my bones shake. 15
"Then a spirit passed by my face;
the hair of my flesh bristled up. 16
"It stood still, but I could not discern its appearance;
a form was before my eyes;
There was silence, then I heard a voice:
17 'Can mankind be just before God?
Can a man be pure before his Maker?
Eze 1:28 As the appearance of the rainbow
in the clouds on a rainy day,
so was the appearance of the surrounding radiance.
Such was the appearance of the likeness
of the glory of Yahveh.
And when I saw,
I fell on my face and heard a voice speaking.
Peals of thunder:
Rev 4:5 And from the throne proceed
flashes of lightning and sounds and peals of thunder.
And there were seven lamps of fire
burning before the throne,
which are the seven Spirits of God;
Jn 12:28 "Father, glorify Your name."
There came therefore a voice out of heaven:
"I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again." 29
The multitude therefore, who stood by and heard it,
were saying that it had thundered;
others were saying, "An angel has spoken to Him." 30
Jesus answered and said,
"This voice has not come for My sake,
but for your sakes.
The voice of the Father in heaven.
An earthquake:
1Sa 14:15 And there was a trembling
in the camp, in the field, and among all the people.
Even the garrison and the raiders trembled,
and the earth quaked
so that it became a great trembling.
A great hailstorm:
Ps 18:13 Yahveh also thundered in the heavens,
and the Most High uttered His voice,
hailstones and coals of fire.
Isa 28:2 Behold,
Yahveh has a strong and mighty agent,
as a storm of hail, a tempest of destruction,
like a storm of mighty overflowing waters,
He has cast [it] down to the earth with [His] hand.
Jos 10:11 And it came about as they fled from before Israel,
[while] they were at the descent of Beth-horon,
that Yahveh threw large stones from heaven on them
as far as Azekah, and they died;
[there were] more who died from the hailstones
than those whom the sons of Israel killed with the sword.
Search stones:
Ac 4:10 let it be known to all of you,
and to all the people of Israel,
that by the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene,
whom you crucified,
whom God raised from the dead—
by this name
this man stands here before you in good health. 11
"He is the stone
which was rejected by you, the builders,
[but] which became the very corner stone. 12
"And there is salvation in no one else;
for there is no other name under heaven
that has been given among men,
by which we must be saved."
